Rich Faces 4.0 - huge improvement

Web Frameworks for 2011

There are some good news for JSF developers for 2011. JSF 2.0 and Richfaces 4.0 are out and doing a quick web application I realized that my life is going to be much easier in 2011.

Annotations, improved EL(method parameters) and page parameters allowed me to finally be able to write some decent code with JSF 2.0. It's really such a relief compared with JSF 1.2. The SUN is shining again.

Regarding RichFaces, the new version implies much less download on the client ( compared with the 700k currently) so my boss is going to love me again.
